Short weekend Trip to Mont Kiara

A very unexpected trip it was. SST team Ariff and Curly with PCRT made a short trip up to KL for Bandar Utama BMX race track for 2 days training.The journey started off at 6 am making their way to the 2nd link. Couple hours of driving,3 pit stop and lots of crappy talk along the way they finally made it to KL at 12noon.They checked into a motel which was only bout 5 mins ride away from Bandar Utama BMX race track.Coincidently the National Round Race qualifiers for Malaysia was on the next day.

They went there first thing in the morning,suprisingly Ariff and Curly B competed in the open category alongside with KL riders,Amy and Boy.Ariff crashed twice at the third round and time trial.The final results for the open category were Boy 1st,Ariff 2nd and 3rd John.Amy got 1st for 19 and below category.As for the girls,Resa 1st,Intan 2nd and 3rd Baby.After the race event SST crew head up for Mont Kiara Skatepark,they cycled thier way there with the KL boys which took them bout 20mins of uphill and downhill roads along the highway.

They rode for few hours before heading back to s’pore..the whole journey back was accompanied by heavy rain so it was slow on the way back..made it to s’pore around 1 am..Although the trip was a short one..it went well.
