Quoted from yesterday Strait Times
"CYCLISTS in Tampines who ride recklessly on the estate's footpaths may be penalised in the next phase of a trial to let cyclists share the space with pedestrians. The year-long trial ended in May, but will be extended by six months, during which enforcement action will be stepped up to make the sharing of footpaths more feasible"
It does also mention that anyone caught cycling recklessly will be fine maximum of $1000. As ridiculous as it seems we must take extra care when riding on footpath in Tampines or anywhere else that matters. Just a carefull reminder to all riders around here as we , BMXers are always riding "recklessly" to the eye of the public.
